The focus of the Advanced Open Water Diver course is skill advancement. Participants engage in exercises to enhance navigation and buoyancy, experience deep diving, and select three specialty dives based on personal preferences, akin to a specialty sampler platter. Each completed specialty dive contributes toward earning credits for PADI specialty certifications.
There’s a range of options available, including: Deep, Digital Underwater Photography, Dive Against Debris, Fish Identification, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigation, and Wreck Diver, among others. The course offers a diverse array of choices to cater to individual interests and preferences.
