Single Tank Night Dive with Sun Diving Unawatuna. Dive into a completely different world and witness it coming to life under the glow of your dive light. The environment transforms as daytime creatures go to rest, and nocturnal organisms take their turn in the spotlight.
Upon arriving at the dive centre around 5 pm, our team of Divemasters and Instructors will warmly greet you. Your first tasks include completing necessary paperwork and a medical statement.
Following that, if you haven’t brought your own equipment, our team will ensure you are properly sized for the gear. Once everything is set up, you’ll receive a thorough yet concise briefing on diving and boat protocols with your group.
This briefing covers crucial details about the night dive specifics, the dive site, local and special procedures, safety measures, recall protocols, dive site attractions, marine life, dive profiles, signs, hand signals, and more. Effective dive planning is crucial for ensuring enjoyable and safe experiences, and we strive for nothing less than perfection.
With the assistance of our staff, equipment is loaded onto the boats (don’t worry, we will carry your tank to the boat for you 😉 ), and we embark on the night dive adventure. Depending on no-decompression limits, each dive typically lasts a maximum of 45 minutes or when you will reach 50 bars.
After the dive, we return to the dive centre. While our staff takes care of clearing equipment, you can relax and enjoy some tea prepared for you.
Pay just 10% online now to book your spot! The remaining balance is to be paid at the dive centre. We accept cash, bank transfer (Revolut, Wise and Monzo without any extra fee) and card payments (+3% bank surcharge applies).
