The Goda Kupatha dive site is just a short boat ride from Sun Diving Centre. At Goda Kupatha divers can mainly explore rocky areas consisting of colorful corralled reefs, however since the Tsunami parts of these corals have sadly eroded but its by far one of our best dive sites for coral life. Recently we have noticed that some beautiful soft corals have been returning and it is a beautiful site to see.
However, because of this it is especially important to always be aware and mindful of your diving practices and buoyancy to preserve the coral life here at Goda Kupatha, remembering corals are incredibly sensitive and can die or have severe long last effects from just one human touch. Almost everything in the ocean is alive or part of the natural habitat.
There is also still plenty of marine life living here consisting of reef fish, different types of rays, Porcupine, Puffer Fish and crustaceans.
